What is Pockemy?

Pockemy is a character with a star motif, set in a beautiful town somewhere in the universe. It portrays a fun and peaceful daily life led by unique and adorable characters. Immersing yourself in this world is a soothing experience.

Although only a glimpse of this world has been revealed so far, there is great anticipation for what the future holds!

Character Introduction

There are 11 characters in “Pockemy”! The lineup includes the iconic “Pockemy” along with “Yami,” “Fushigi,” “Muteki,” “Kuishinbo,” “Aniki,” “Chibikko,” “Bibiri,” “Tsuntsun,” “Futekusare,” and “Shinratsu.”

Except for Pockemy, the character names describe human personality traits and behaviors, which are reflected in their unique characteristics. Each character exudes human-like qualities, and their expressive and comedic depictions make them incredibly charming.

With such a diverse set of personalities, you’re sure to find your favorite among them!

Pockemy

Pockemy is the official character of “Smart Pocket.” He is full of energy, innocent, and extremely curious. Like a young elementary school boy with a strong sense of justice, he often makes mistakes but doesn’t mind at all.

Yami

She usually appears as a kind and gentle lady, but when she gets irritated, her eyes sharpen, and she enters “dark mode.” In this mode, she continuously speaks harsh words, but she reverts to her usual self after eating something sweet.

Fushigi

She is always in a daze, appearing to listen with her clear eyes but actually not paying attention at all. She often says incomprehensible things, yet occasionally predicts the future, making everyone take notice of her words.

Muteki

He believes himself to be absolute and never doubts his confidence. Perhaps due to his composed nature, he is generous and never gets angry. Always smiling, his strong eyes and loud voice complement his robust physique.

Kuishinbo

He is always thinking about food. When his stomach is full, he is cheerful, but when he is hungry, he becomes gloomy. His emotions revolve around food, often changing his personality—getting angry or even crying over it.

Aniki

He is strong and aggressive, acting as the big brother figure to everyone. While he never shows weakness, deep down, he lacks confidence and hides it behind his tough exterior.

Chibikko

They are tiny characters, similar to three-year-old human children. Due to their innocence, they sometimes make sharp remarks. When they gather, their presence can be overwhelming.

Bibiri

He is always fearful and tends to hide behind objects. He is so timid that he struggles to speak with confidence and apologizes immediately when spoken to.

Tsuntsun

A “tsundere” character who often cries. She is highly emotional and quickly gets embarrassed or angry. Though she appears selfish, she is actually kind-hearted and willing to help those in need.

Futekusare

Dark and logical, he always makes snide remarks but crumbles into self-deprecation when criticized himself.

Shinratsu

He constantly finds faults in others and makes sarcastic comments. He knows he is unpleasant but avoids anything related to sports, showing a lack of confidence in that area.

Rival or Friend? Meet “Holy”

Although not much has been revealed yet, “Holy” is expected to become a crucial character deeply connected to “Pockemy” and “Smart Pocket.” Plus, Holy is incredibly cute!

Composed of professional creators who each release popular original works, this team is known not only for its high technical skills but also for its excellent teamwork

Main Creator: Marumiya

The main creator and character designer of “Pockemy” is Marumiya. His works, including four-panel comics, evoke the essence of classic Japanese manga, blending intricate details with warmth and tenderness that soothe the heart.

In “Pockemy,” he masterfully brings out the unique personalities of each character through expressive emotions and comedic movements, breathing life into these simple star-shaped beings.

As a freelance illustrator, Marumiya is active in character design, illustrations, manga, and animation production. His work spans individual and corporate projects as well as fan art. On X (formerly Twitter), his fan creations consistently achieve hundreds of thousands of impressions, making him an incredibly popular creator.
