Holy and Pockemy tokens (HOLY, PKM) have recently gained popularity, with their prices and market capitalization rising rapidly. As a result, users are making frequent transactions to improve their rankings, leading to intense competition. However, this has also made active users targets for scammers, who send fake tokens. When these tokens are mistakenly traded, malicious contracts are triggered, resulting in stolen assets. Within the community, there have already been reports of users losing assets after clicking on fake tokens. Such scams have a tangible negative impact on token prices, user trust, and the brand’s image.

To ensure a safe environment for using Smart Pocket tokens, please make sure to follow the checks and operational guidelines below.

⚠️ Important Note: Receiving fake tokens does not mean your wallet is immediately compromised. However, if you interact with fake tokens (Approve / Swap / Transfer), your funds may be stolen.

Basic Measures to Prevent Damage

画像
  1. Do not touch unknown tokens
・Never perform any operations such as swap or transfer on unfamiliar tokens.
  2. Precautions when swapping
    A. Always copy and paste the official contract address (CA) before swapping.
    B. For Smart Pocket-related tokens, always check the verification mark in Smart Pocket before swapping.
  3. Wallet management
・Hide unnecessary or suspicious tokens to reduce the risk of damage.

Operation Guide (Steps and Explanation)

1) Checking the Verification Mark (within the Smart Pocket APP)

3) How to Hide Fake Tokens

After completing a swap, when you return to the Phantom screen, fake tokens may appear (especially if it looks like your total balance has suddenly increased). In such cases, never click on them.

画像

Steps:

  1. Click the three dots in the upper right corner (do not click the fake token itself).
  2. Select “Manage Tokens.”
  3. Turn off the fake token.
  4. The fake token will be hidden from the list, and it will not affect your other assets.

Flow to Make a Habit (to Reduce Theft Risk)

画像
  • Official confirmation → Copy the contract address → Swap
  • After completing the swap, always stay alert when returning to the Phantom home screen.

Small Precautions

画像

After a transaction, fake tokens may also appear on the Wallet page, but they usually appear at the bottom of the token list. Therefore, when opening the Wallet page, only check your balance and never click on them. As long as you do not interact with these fake tokens in any way, there will generally be no problem.

Summary

Our goal is to build an environment where Smart Pocket tokens can be used with peace of mind and to raise awareness among community members regarding the risks of fake token airdrops. Please share this checklist and operation guide within the community. If any suspicious situation occurs, report it immediately so that the management team can respond quickly.

⚠️ Note: Currently, Smart Pocket accounts are linked with Phantom, so accounts cannot be migrated to another wallet. Therefore, it is especially important to be cautious not to mistakenly click on fake tokens or approve unknown contracts.
