Hello! I’m Yu-da, the founder of JAPAN DAO! It’s been about three years since we launched JAPAN DAO. Recently, I’ve had more opportunities to speak at events and conferences. After speaking at these conferences, I often receive numerous inquiries from various companies and industry professionals. In this note, I want to share the journey of JAPAN DAO from its inception to its future, for everyone who comes across JAPAN DAO.

What is JAPAN DAO?

JAPAN DAO is one of the world’s largest character studios, with members from over 150 countries. Our vision is ‘Bringing Japanese culture to the world,’ and our mission is to deliver the great potential that Japan’s history and traditional events have on society to people worldwide through the power of anime and manga.

WebX2024

On August 28th and 29th, the largest global conference in Asia, WebX2024, came to a close. Despite concerns about the impact of the typhoon, the event was successfully held. We were honored to not only have a booth but also to be invited to speak. A big thank you to everyone involved for all your hard work.

The speech was scheduled for shortly after noon on the first day of the event, where I shared our future developments and the latest information, including some unreleased content. Many DAO members gathered from all over Japan, and there were so many people standing and watching that even the organizers of WebX reached out to us. It was a tremendous success. I am filled with gratitude to all our supporters. With gratitude in my heart, I stood on the stage.

After the speech, many people visited the JAPAN DAO booth, and the goods we had prepared were gone in no time. Next time, we’ll make sure to prepare more! We were delighted to hear that even the kids were wearing the child-sized T-shirts. I lost my mother to illness when I was in the first grade, and even when I felt lonely, I found courage in anime and manga characters, which helped me keep going. Now, my mission is to continue giving courage to children around the world through characters. This dream is what keeps me going.

The true power of a DAO is realized when everyone’s efforts come together. I can’t accomplish anything on my own. From here on, I will continue to write down the path of JAPAN DAO that we walk together in this note. Please join us on our journey, which has only just begun. We also plan to hold a free NFT event to mark DAO membership. Let’s work together to create characters that represent the earth and share the precious Japanese culture with the world.
