SmaPoke Trade Tab Debuts — Switch Between Two Trading Modes: “Rocket Trade” and “Pro Trade”

A new “Trade” tab has been added to the left menu of Smart Pocket (SmaPoke).

Open it, and you’ll find that it is divided into two trading modes. One is the familiar “Rocket Trade,” designed for quick, game-like trading. The other is the main highlight this time: “Pro Trade,” a professional-grade mode equipped with an order book and full-featured charts.

Whether you want to casually enjoy predicting market direction or take a more serious approach by analyzing charts and the order book, you can now choose the style that fits you best within the same SmaPoke platform. In this article, we’ll introduce the new Trade tab by focusing on the differences between these two modes.

1. What Is the Trade Tab? — Two Trading Modes in One Place

The new Trade tab serves as the main entry point for Smart Pocket’s trading features. When you expand the menu, you’ll see two modes listed side by side.

• Rocket Trade — An entry-level mode with a vertical rocket-style UI, allowing users to control Long/Short positions intuitively with a game-like feel.
• Pro Trade — A full-scale, professional trading mode equipped with an order book, charts, and advanced order types.

Both modes share the same core concept: perpetual futures trading, where users take positions based on whether the price moves up or down. The key difference lies in the visual design and the depth of operation. You can engage with the same market in either a casual or a professional way, depending on your trading style.

2. Rocket Trade — An Entry-Level Mode That Feels Like a Game

First, let’s look at the entry-level mode: Rocket Trade. This is Smart Pocket’s familiar, pop-style trading screen that has been available since before.

• The screen uses a vertical rocket-style UI, with the left half color-coded for SHORT and the right half for LONG.
• If you think the price will go up, choose the right side (Long). If you think it will go down, choose the left side (Short) and “launch” your position.
• Each trade is called a “mission,” and you can watch the result unfold through the rocket’s trajectory.
• The system is designed so that users can earn PT simply by trading, extending Smart Pocket’s point-based ecosystem from swaps to trading.

3. Pro Trade — A Professional Trading Screen for Serious Traders

The new highlight this time is Pro Trade. At first glance, you can immediately tell that it features the layout of a full-fledged derivatives exchange. A professional-grade trading environment has now been added directly inside SmaPoke.

3-1. Screen Layout — A Three-Column Setup with Charts, Order Book, and Order Panel

The Pro Trade screen is mainly composed of three key areas.

1. Center: Advanced Chart — A full-featured candlestick chart similar to TradingView. In addition to time frame switching across 1m / 5m / 1H / 1D / 1W / 1M, it also includes trendlines and various drawing tools.
2. Center-right: Order Book / Trades — A real-time price ladder showing buy and sell orders stacked by PRICE / SIZE / TOTAL, along with the spread, such as Spr 1.0. You can also switch to Trades to view executed trade history.
3. Right side: Order Panel — The operation area where you can set the trading direction, order size, leverage, and take-profit / stop-loss settings. More details will be covered later.
4. Top: Market Summary — Displays key market information, including the current price, 24h Change, Mark price, Funding / Countdown — the funding rate and countdown to the next funding event — 24h Volume, and Open Interest.
5. Bottom: Position Management — Manage your current positions, unfilled orders, and trade history through three tabs: Positions, Open Orders, and Trade History.

In short, everything you need for serious trading is contained on a single screen: view the price, read the order book, place orders, and manage positions.

3-2. Four Order Types in the Order Panel — Order / Trigger / Scale / TWAP

The biggest evolution of Pro Trade is the wide range of order types available. You can switch between them using the tabs at the top of the order panel.

• Order — The basic order type. Choose between Limit and Market orders, then place your order immediately.
• Trigger — A trigger order that activates once the price reaches a specified level. This is useful for setting up stop-style reserved orders.
• Scale — A scale order that distributes multiple limit orders across a selected price range. It helps automate strategies such as buying in stages as the price falls or selling in stages as the price rises.
• TWAP — A TWAP order that splits an order over time and executes it gradually. This is useful when entering a larger position while aiming to reduce price impact.

In addition, everything can be completed within a single panel: Long / Short, leverage of up to 40x, margin amount settings through Margin / Size, quick input options such as 25% / 50% / 75% / Max, and TAKE PROFIT / STOP LOSS, which allows you to set profit-taking and stop-loss levels by price or percentage at the same time.

Before placing an order, the panel displays Position Size, Order Value, Est. Liq Price — the estimated liquidation price — and Est. Fees, allowing you to check the risks before submitting your trade.

3-3. Supported Markets — BTC and ETH Are Live, with More Coming Soon

You can switch markets by clicking the market name in the upper-left corner of the screen, such as “BTC-PERP,” and selecting “Select Market.” The available lineup at the time of writing is as follows:

• BTC — Live / Up to 40x
• ETH — Live / Up to 25x
• SOL — Soon
• HYPE — Soon
• XRP — Soon
• DOGE — Soon

The platform currently starts with two markets: BTC and ETH. SOL, HYPE, XRP, and DOGE are marked as “Soon” and are expected to be released gradually.

3-4. Margin and Fees — USDC-Denominated with a Low-Cost Structure

• Margin is USDC-denominated — balances are managed under Available Balance (USDC)
• The estimated fee is around 0.095% and can be checked under Est. Fees before placing an order
• Once you connect your wallet and deposit funds, you can start trading right away

Despite offering a full-featured order book, trading fees remain relatively low. This mode is designed for traders who want to keep costs down while trading aggressively.

4. Which One Should You Use? — How to Choose the Right Mode

The two modes are not in competition with each other; they serve different purposes. You can switch between them depending on your mood and experience level.

• Rocket Trade is best suited for users who:
  • Are new to perpetual trading or want to get a feel for it first
  • Prefer quick, intuitive trading over reading order books and charts
  • Want to steadily earn PT while trading
• Pro Trade is best suited for users who:
  • Want to trade based on charts and order books with a clear rationale
  • Want to customize orders using limit orders, triggers, scale orders, TWAP, and more
  • Want to fine-tune take-profit / stop-loss settings and leverage
